My first day in Aruba"What kind of animals will I find under the sea?" I wondered as I walked across the wooden boards and onto the gang plank. "Hey why do they call it the gang plank? It has nothing to do with a street gang or even or a little bit with a plank." It was a sunny summer morning in a little island called Aruba.As always I had a great feeling being in that island. There was always great feeling in me when I was that island because I had great memmories there. I settled in my diving equipment and got into my diving suit. I sat down as my dad preped his equipment and saw the beautiful sea. I felt great as the wind rushed into my face. I asked my dad in a loud voice, "when are we going to reach the reef’? My dad said in a deep loud voice “in a few moments! As he helped me strap in my tank. As we neared a blue spot with colorful fish swimming underneath. The, "put put`` of the engine died away. I jumped in the cold water with the Scubapro equipment led weights pushed me under the sea.The water got cold, I shivered as I got pulled under the waves. The sun still stayed bright as I swam deeper and deeper. Through the colorful schools of fishes and coral I swam. I felt really excited as we saw part after part of an airplane came into view. I thought, “100,200,300, how many fishes are there in this reef? All kinds’ fishes came and I felt great! "There were no limits in the water" I thought. I saw a puffer fish puff up when I got too near it! I had a lot of fun when I saw a ray swim backwards. I thought "what is that ray doing isn`t the ray supposed to swim forward? ``.The next thing I saw froze me in my spot. There was an eel swimming near a what seemed to be a propeller. A single thought went through my brain over and over, "is that eel electric?``. I was feeling bad and tried to shoo the eel away with my watch. I knew the idea was pathetic but it freeked me out the thought the eel could shock me in the water. At last came rescue, my dad pulled me away and directed me to go and follow the instructor. I reluctantly followed even though the eel kind of looked funny like it was trying to lift the propeller by the way it coiled around one of the blades of the propeller. At last I had to get above the water and onto the boat as my dad urged me up the stairs impatiently. We walked back to the hotel and into my cozy hotel room. My family always liked the great hotel rooms at the Marriot Vacation club in ArubaThe room was warm as my dad cooked. Our friends from Paris arrived into our home away from home. "What a beautiful morning I had" I thought. At lunch time I got taken by surprise as the friends we have from Paris gave me the I Pad that I longed for such a long time. They asked their daughter to present the gift to me. That amazed me. Their gift dazzled me. At last I pulled myself together felling happier than ever. Then I managed to stammer to the whole family "thank you".Then told the whole family and our friends about my dives. Although I excluded parts from the story I saw anxious eyes look at me. There were "wow “and "amazing" from my public. My personality felt happy about that. I felt anxious to tell everyone my story. But I was so hungry I devoured my lunch first. Finally every one asked me questions, I answered them. Although I felt happy about talking and telling stories but at last I prefer to stick with videogames.
